Paradox collaborated with a top oil and gas client to solve particularly challenging issues they were facing. They were unable to reliably access a water source for drilling and completion operations. Together, we created a custom solution, a never-seen-before Access Mat Solutions designed to build a safe and dependable all season access road.

As unique as the problem was, so was the solution. With all hands-on deck, the process from initital consultation to implementation took a total of 10 days.

THE PROBLEM

An extremely steep slope was hindering the ability of trucks, quads and loaders to reach a crucial water source. Access was treacherous and there was a high risk of incidents occurring. As safety was a top priority and non negotiable, the client wasn’t willing to compromise on it.

In the past, the client had tried conventional solutions such as traditional access matting without success. With frequent plant shutdowns due to incidents and inaccessibility, the client was losing hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

To mitigate future losses for our client, Paradox assembled its multi-faceted team of engineers, project managers, procurement specialists, and product experts. They worked to understand the challenges and to develop an agile and responsive solution.
